2009 Lavezzi 40 | Even Keels

Even Keels is a stunning and well-equipped Fountaine Pajot Lavezzi 40, presented in the very coveted Owner’s layout. The catamaran received a brand-new sail wardrobe and new Volvo Penta engines in 2022, making her one of the best value-for-money Fountaine Pajot models available on the market.

The Lavezzi 40 was the first Fountaine Pajot model to benefit from the resin infusion technology, saving excess weight and enabling maximum structural strength and performance.

Set up for serious offshore cruising or for comfortable coastal sailing,  Even Keels is equipped with solar panels and lithium batteries, radar and AIS, nav laptop and watermaker.

The Maestro version devotes one entire hull to a spacious owner’s space, with a large bathroom, huge bedroom and a couch area for secluded reading time. The generous aft cabins feel light and specious with excellent access to the berth and good ventilation.

Three steps from the hull lead up to the saloon area with a surprisingly generous 2m headroom. The saloon table seats six comfortably, with extra space for two chairs if required to sit eight. There is ample space onboard for storage, be it in the saloon / galley area and in both hulls for liveaboard.

The Sycamore lacquered-finish light wood and a huge amount of natural light translate to a great sense space and comfort onboard, rarely found on a 40ft catamaran.

Fully protected, the helm position is to starboard with a comfortable double seat. It integrates perfectly with the saloon and the galley, making communications with the skipper a breeze. This popular feature has since been copied on all the more recent Fountaine Pajot models.
