1972 Fred R. Parker Custom | Dream Catcher

Step into the world of classic yachting with DreamCatcher. This majestic 65-foot ketch, designed by renowned naval architect Frederick Robert Parker in 1969, embodies the timeless elegance of a bygone sailing era. A testament to a tradition of excellence, this timeless beauty is ready to embark on a new chapter with a passionate owner.

Built in durable steel by George Nulson & Co. in 1974, she combines enduring maritime architecture with a rich history. Having had only two owners since her launch, DreamCatcher is a rare gem, brimming with charm and authenticity.

The yacht spans 19.8m in length, with a beam of 5.23m and a draft of 2.54m. Her classic lines and premium materials—including a steel hull and deck paired with a luxurious interior crafted from jarrah and fine woods—speak to its sophistication and high-quality construction. Powered by a completely overhauled 101 Hp General Motors Detroit diesel engine with only 560 hours of use, DreamCatcher ensures reliable performance for cruising. Fuel tanks with a total capacity of 1,400 litres and 800 litres of freshwater storage provide remarkable autonomy for extended journeys.

Inside, DreamCatcher features a spacious and adaptable layout. Currently, has two cabins that can accommodate up to 12 people, thanks to convertible double berths. The forward cabin can be transformed into two separate spaces by adding a partition, creating a three-cabin configuration for added versatility. The amenities include two electric bathrooms, a fully equipped galley with a 680L refrigerator, and air conditioning in the owner’s cabin, ensuring maximum comfort for long-distance voyages.

While some electronic equipment, such as the Garmin chartplotter and Navman autopilot, may require updates, the yacht’s technical foundation is solid and offers an enriching restoration project.

Currently stored on dry dock in Phuket in Thailand, DreamCatcher requires some refurbishment, including work on certain electrical components and improvements to its interior aesthetics.

DreamCatcher represents a rare opportunity to own an exceptional classic yacht and transform this maritime masterpiece into a symbol of your passion for yachting.
