1992 Koopmans 40 | Miss Fox

This 40-foot offshore yacht, designed by legendary Dutch naval architect Koopman, underwent a complete refit in 2023. Popular among serious long-distance sailors all over the world, the Koopmans 40 is renowned for its quality craftmanship, excellent build quality and seaworthiness.

Miss Fox is a comfortable blue water cruiser, having amply proven herself on many long sea voyages. She is also ideal for relaxing holidays or long weekends on the water closer to shore. Her retractable centerboard delivers the best of both worlds, so you don’t have to choose between sailing performance and anchoring in that idyllic, but shallow, harbour or bay.

This yacht easily and safely handles sailing in heavy weather, and also performs well in light weather. The wind vane steering is reliable and energy efficient as it does not rely on power at all, though Miss Fox is also equipped with solar panels and a wind generator.

The exterior boasts beautiful lines, a spacious cockpit and well sheltered helm position while the beautifully crafted timber interior offers a generous, stylish and comfortable living space. Miss Fox has been meticulously maintained both inside and out.
