2002 Island Packet 420 | Great Sensation

Exclusively listed with The Yacht Sales Co, Great Sensation is a beautifully maintained and very fine example of the Island Packet 420, a long-keeled yacht renowned for its exemplary build quality and voted Best Full-Size Cruiser by Cruising World magazine.

In the past four years, no expense was spared on upgrades and additions, including all new sails, a new alternator, lithium house battery bank and solar panels, a new cutlass bearing and exhaust cooling elbow, new refrigerator and freezer compressors, a new air-conditioning system, new hot water and electric toilets.

The full suite of Raymarine electronics was upgraded in 2019. She still looks totally fresh, with new bimini and enclosures (2021) and new curtains and upholstery (2022). The cockpit teak and toe rails were revarnished in 2024.
