2017 Dufour 460 | Nocoao 5
Nocoao 5 is a Dufour 460 Grand Large launched in 2017 that offers the perfect balance between functionality and elegance.
With her wider hull shape, she has been designed both for performance in a wide range of wind conditions and made easy to manoeuvre with maximum space around the cockpit area, sunbathing platform and interior cabins to create an exceptional cruising yacht.
Nocoa 5 features an upgraded 75 Hp Volvo diesel as well as a Jetpower bow thruster, generator and air conditioning.
Easily sailed by her twin helms, she has unrestricted movement around the cockpit as well as excellent visibility forward while sailing. The aft seating lifts up to allow access on and off the transom and to expose an exterior galley with gas BBQ and a sink with hot and cold water.
In the cockpit, there is a generous cockpit table with large leaves for alfresco dining and an integral fridge. Fitted to the aft end of this table is the Raymarine Plotter which includes the radar overlay.
A deep and easily accessed deck locker in the bow offers plenty of storage for ropes, fenders and any extra sails.
Nocoao 5 is perfect for distance cruising or for anyone that simply enjoys a yacht that handles and performs well. As an added bonus, she is fitted with a custom S/S davits for her inflatable dinghy and outboard.
Controlling winches for the main and genoa sheets are positioned aft next to the helm positions for easy handling. There are two large electric coachroof winches at the companionway for the halyards and reefing lines, with two electric genoa winches. The sail plan consists of an in-mast furling mainsail married with a 107% overlapping genoa.
Below decks, she has the galley forward that creates an impressive saloon area. The standard double pull-out draw fridge as well as optional deep freezer makes provisioning for distance cruising a breeze. Three large distinctive hull windows allow in plenty of natural light to the interior of the boat.
The master cabin combines functionality and comfort with generous storage found in the deep cupboards around the cabin as well us pull out draws under the bed.
The forward heads are divided into two separate compartments, one providing a shower and sink, the other a toilet and wash hand basin. The two generously sized aft cabins offer plenty of light and headroom and share the large day head which also incorporates a shower.
All finished in the European Light Oak timber, this yacht will appeal to all looking for that perfect yacht for either extended cruising or for family excursions in your local harbor.
