Launched in October 2021, Amitie is a near-new Jeanneau Sun Fast 3600 that has been set up specifically for two-handed and crewed racing.
Nothing has been spared in the setup of this boat. With a 9” display at the chart table and dual 12” and 7” displays in the cockpit, all navigation and wind information is easily accessed. Featuring twin tillers, there are pilot controllers and Triton displays located in easy to reach locations, whether at the port or starboard helm.
The lightweight, powerful hull of the Sun Fast 3600 with its hard chine, twin rudders and lead keel contributes to the speed, balance and stability on all tacks. Perfectly adapted for solo sailing, doublehanded, and crewed regattas, the Sun Fast 3600 is designed to compete in both inshore and offshore races.
Her sail wardrobe comprises a 3DI main, No2 headsail that reefs to a number No3, a No4 that reefs to a No5, a Code Zero, No 2, No4 and a No6 asymmetrical spinnakers. Amitie also has a six-man life raft and all the safety equipment for Category 3.5 races.
