2019 Moody DS45 | Odessa
Odessa is a beautiful and highly sought-after Moody ‘deckhouse saloon’ design equipped with all the finest options and enjoying a suite of recent upgrades by her sole owner.
Launched in December 2019 the yacht’s saloon offers 360-degree views, leather upholstery and remarkable interior space that rivals a catamaran for liveability. The galley is contemporary and practical with Corian benchtops and ample storage.
Odessa has an expansive cockpit with retractable Targa roof, and you can step straight into the water from the electrically operated swim platform, which opens to the dinghy garage and further storage.
Featuring a three-cabin layout, each cabin enjoys double beds, a beautifully light and spacious interior and an abundance of storage for extended cruising.
Upgrades include Lithium batteries, flush-mounted solar array, Airconditioning and a brand new water-maker.
Odessa is easy to sail single handed, setup with three helm stations boasting the latest navigation equipment, both steering pedestals of full electric control of the sails, and wireless control from the forward-facing nav station.
Her sail plan offers in-mast furling main, furling self-tacker and, if the breeze drops, then there’s a socked reacher.
Under power, the yacht is quick and quiet, and the 107 hp Volvo has low hours and plenty of power with a simple straight shaft and folding prop.
When berthing, you can deploy both retractable bow and stern thrusters from the helm. The unique retractable anchor system means a sleek and low-profile bow when not deployed. The anchor is a beefed up ‘Excel’ for ample holding.
