The Yacht Sales Co. is seeking an energetic Marketing Manager to join our busy marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the fast-paced and diverse marine industry, supporting our Asia Pacific and international sales teams to drive strategic growth.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you’ll play a key role in executing marketing strategies, managing campaigns and driving brand engagement.
Immediate start for the right candidate, and remuneration will be determined by experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels to effectively support new and brokerage yacht sales growth.
- Work closely with sales and management teams to position brands, generate leads and achieve sales targets.
- Coordinate and manage media bookings and promotional campaigns.
- Manage marketing budget.
- Network with key media and industry bodies.
- Manage sponsorship commitments with various industry organisations, clubs and events.
- Oversee website management, including content development, updates, SEO and communications.
- Manage public relations efforts, including press releases, newsletters and boat reviews.
- Provide detailed marketing reports to key stakeholders.
- Plan and coordinate events such as boat shows and open yacht days.
- Manage merchandise inventory and distribution, signage and other marketing collateral.
- Oversee digital promotions, including social media and Google Ads.
- Manage CRM, database marketing and automation (e.g., HubSpot).
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is energetic and proactive, with the ability to gracefully juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Thrives on both hands-on involvement and strategic planning, seamlessly switching between rolling up their sleeves to execute tasks and confidently representing the company in meetings with senior management and industry leaders at professional events.
- Sets an example for the Marketing team with high organisational skills.
- Has impeccable attention to detail
- Demonstrates positive leadership and collaboration skills
Key Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in sales-driven industries.
- Excellent written, copywriting and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with CRM systems, such as HubSpot.
- Proven competency in WordPress, MS Office, Adobe Suite, Google Ads, SEO and social media management programs (eg. Meta Business Suite etc) and other related marketing software.
- Graphic design skills with experience in Adobe PhotoShop and InDesign desirable.
- Experience with statistical and data analysis
- Event coordination and management experience.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally for industry events, eg. boat shows, sales events etc.
- Open driver’s licence essential
