Alex Hill

Born in the UK and raised across Africa, the Pacific, and the Caribbean, Alex brings a truly global perspective to his role at The Yacht Sales Co. Since settling in Fiji with his wife Alice in 2003, Alex has become a proud citizen of Fiji and a dedicated advocate for its vibrant marine industry.

Alex’s career has been deeply intertwined with the world of boats and diving. From working as a dive professional in Antigua, Indonesia, and the UK, to running a liveaboard vessel in Djibouti’s Bab el Mandeb Strait, Alex has gained extensive experience in all aspects of marine operations. After moving to Fiji, he and Alice established and successfully operated a renowned dive centre on the Coral Coast before transitioning to consultancy and operational management roles in Fiji’s tourism sector. Alongside this, Alex has supported the growth of ‘Hot Glass Fiji’, the family’s acclaimed glassblowing studio and gallery.

Alex’s intimate knowledge of Fiji’s marine industry combined with his professional expertise and extensive network, makes him an invaluable member of The Yacht Sales Co. team. Partnering with David Jamieson and Yacht Help Fiji, Alex is committed to helping grow the region’s yacht sales market, connecting clients with their dream vessels and supporting the thriving local boating community.
