Andrew De Bruin

Andrew de Bruin has seamlessly blended business with pleasure throughout his impressive career, focusing on sailing and selling yachts in some of the world’s most exotic destinations.

Andrew began his journey as a charter yacht skipper in Greece and Turkey. Upon returning to Australia, he spent several years as the operations manager for Sunsail in the Whitsundays. His career then took him to Sydney Harbour, where he was appointed service manager for Beneteau Yachts-Vicsail. Following this, Andrew set sail on his own 36′ yacht, Awatea, to Singapore and spent several years undertaking numerous regional and international yacht deliveries. He was then recruited to manage the daily operations and major refit of the sailing vessel ‘Star Gazer’, based in the Gulf of Thailand, Malacca Strait and Andaman Sea.

In 2002, Andrew embarked on a ten-year tenure as Senior Broker with Lee Marine Co. Ltd, where he supervised a successful team of yacht brokers across three offices in Thailand.

Previously manager of our Thailand Sales Centre, Andrew now leads the Sales team in The Yacht Sales Co. Brisbane office where he shares his ocean of knowledge and skills with clients looking to buy or sell.
