Andrew Partington

Andrew Partington’s life has always revolved around the water. Growing up in Albany, Western Australia, in a waterskiing-obsessed family, he was barefoot skiing by the age of 9 and went on to represent WA five times as a tournament skier. His passion for sports extended to AFL football, where he played in the WAFL for Claremont and Swan Districts during the 1980s.

After completing a degree in physiotherapy at Curtin University, Andrew and his wife Jane opened a successful physiotherapy practice in Albany in 1993. However, his love for adventure and the ocean was never far away. In 2011, he took delivery of a new Fountaine Pajot in La Rochelle, France, and embarked on an unforgettable journey, sailing it back to Australia via the Atlantic, Panama, and the Pacific.

Upon returning to Perth in 2012, Andrew spent the next 12 years as the owner of Australia’s largest watersports hire business. During this time, he introduced thousands of people to sailing, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding, further fuelling his passion for helping others embrace life on the water.

Andrew’s hands-on experience with boats is second to none—while most people may own one or two boats in their lifetime, he has owned nearly 100. His unmatched knowledge, combined with a lifetime of adventures on and off the water, makes him an invaluable asset to The Yacht Sales Co. team.
