Edward Sit Woon

Edward is a strategic senior finance executive with over 20 years of experience and a proven track record of significantly increasing company value. He began his career with PwC in audit and tax before becoming a Chartered Accountant in both Australia and Singapore. With cross-sector experience spanning mining, financial services, and manufacturing, Edward has led global finance teams across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and the Americas. His expertise includes corporate governance for ASX and TSX-listed companies, board and stakeholder engagement, digital finance transformation, mergers and acquisitions, and delivering continuous improvement and cost savings. He is a firm believer in respect and teamwork as the foundation for sustainable success.

Born and raised in Mauritius, Edward is multilingual in English, French, and Mandarin, and embraces the richness of diverse cultures. He moved to Singapore for university and began his professional journey there, later taking up a secondment in Melbourne. After living and working in several countries, Edward and his family have proudly made Australia their home. Outside of work, he enjoys golf (but won’t trust it for a living), fishing with his son, and landscaping—most notably building a backyard putting green during the Covid lockdowns.

Edward joins The Yacht Sales Co. as Chief Financial Officer at a pivotal time in the company’s journey, now under the ownership of Fountaine Pajot, listed on Euronext, with bold expansion plans across the Asia Pacific. As part of the experienced executive leadership team, he looks forward to applying his expertise to help drive continued growth and value in the company’s next phase.
