Marcus Ashley-Jones
Marcus Ashley-Jones has masterfully blurred the line between work and play, building a remarkable career out of his passion for sailing. His impressive list of achievements on the water includes competing in the Volvo Ocean Race, the Extreme Sailing Series, racing 18-foot skiffs, and participating in over 20 Rolex Sydney to Hobart Yacht Races, most recently as the skipper of the Maxi 72 URM.
When not facing the ocean’s challenges as a professional sailor, Marcus has worked in the industry in yacht management, as well as project managing various yacht builds and refits. He has also developed extensive marine industry experience in sales as the importer and distributor for SLAM Clothing, and in yacht sales for many of the world’s biggest brands, including Lagoon, Swan, Sunreef, Maritimo, Absolute and Tesoro.
Marcus has been with the Fountaine Pajot Group since 2018 connecting clients with their dream boat, both new and used and priding himself on communication and extensive knowledge. Despite his busy schedule, Marcus finds time to enjoy yoga, snow skiing and exploring the world with his young family.
