Marcus Overman brings decades of marine industry expertise and a wealth of international experience to The Yacht Sales Co. Born in the UK and relocating to Sydney at the age of 10, Marcus has built a lifelong career on and around the water, starting in 1994 with Hayman Island Watersports.

His extensive resume includes working with Sunsail in the Whitsundays, instructing sailing in the Greek Islands and teaching Yachtmaster courses on Sydney Harbour. Marcus also managed Sunsail’s Phuket base from 2003 to 2005 before overseeing a high-end charter company specialising in crewed powerboats in Phuket until 2007.

Joining Lee Marine in Phuket as a broker, Marcus excelled over 12 years facilitating the sale of over 150 boats and earning a reputation for delivering exceptional service in both new and pre-owned yacht sales. In 2020, he joined Multihull Solutions, where his expertise in premium motor yachts has established him as one of the industry’s leading sales professionals.

Outside of work, Marcus enjoys surfing and travelling, bringing a down-to-earth and approachable personality to his role. His passion and dedication to helping clients achieve their yachting dreams make him an invaluable part of The Yacht Sales Co. team.

The Yacht Sales Co. has two Sales Centres located in the dynamic marine precinct of The Boat Works in Coomera to cater for buyers and sellers across all market segments.

Our Pre-Owned Sales Centre is located adjacent to our highly popular ‘Out-Of-Water Boat Show’ hardstand facility in the South Yard, while our New Yacht Flagship Sales Centre is located in ‘The Dock’ building in the North Yard.

OUT-OF-WATER BOAT SHOW

Our Gold Coast Pre-Owned Sales Centre incorporates our highly popular Out-Of-Water Boat Show, a permanent display of yachts showcased on hardstands rather than in marina berths, allowing for a comprehensive view of our yachts for sale.

A line-up of premium Pre-owned yachts are on display at our Out-Of-Water Boat Show every week from Monday to Friday, Saturday morning until midday and by appointment for other times on weekends.

Appointments are required to inspect any of the boats on display and can be made by contacting our Gold Coast Sales team.
