The Yacht Sales Co. NZ Squadron Weekend 2026

Squadron Weekend 2026 is officially locked in for 30th – 31st January, bringing together skippers, crews, and sailing enthusiasts for two days of racing, cruising, and island festivities.

The Weekend will kick off on Friday, 30th January with Race #2 of the Commodore’s Cup Series – The Night Race to Kawau. Participants can race, cruise, or rally their way to Kawau Island.

On Saturday, 31st January, it’s Race #3 – Round Kawau Race, followed by the legendary Kawau Island Party.

Friday, 30 JAN

• 4:00–6:00 PM – Rally or Cruise to Kawau
• 6:00 PM – Night Race to Kawau

Saturday, 31 JAN

• 12:00 PM – Round Kawau Race
• 5:00 PM – Kawau Island Party Begins
• 6:00 PM – BBQ Dinner
• 7:00 PM – Prizegiving & Members Draw
• 7:30 PM – Live Music
