Equilibre is a fine example of this very well-respected brand, designed by Laurent Giles & Co and built by A H. Moody and Son.  The yacht’s condition demonstrates the love and care the owner has invested over the years, and she presents very well.

Having spent most of her life as a live aboard in the Mediterranean, she was shipped to New Zealand and has undergone significant refits that see her engines rebuilt, new teak decks and upgrades such new B&G electronics, electric winches, in boom furling main and electric furling headsails.

With 360-degree views from the spacious and saloon and an abundance of natural light throughout, this comprehensively spec’d yacht is a great ocean crosser or perhaps a liveaboard.

Her three-cabin layout offers comforts including a large master suite with ensuite, and second bathroom with toilet and shower, a well set out galley, good refrigeration, dishwasher, washing machine, watermaker, aircon and heating.

Driven comfortably from either or her dual helm stations, Equilibre averages 6.7 knots sailing. Her twin Perkins engines driving feathering Max-Props achieve 9 knots, cruising at 7 knots. Twin props and bow thruster allow for good manoeuvrability.

Sleep soundly at anchor knowing there’s a 40kg Rocna anchor with 100m of Super Chromox stainless steel chain to hold you. Her AB Lumina 2.5m tender is easily carried and lifted by an excellent davit system.
