Shehota, a superbly maintained Schionning 48 Power Catamaran, was recently purchased by Laurie and Cilla through our Brisbane Sales Consultant, Andrew Craig. Built in Australia for Australian conditions and benefiting from a major refit in 2018, Shehota was the ideal choice for the couple as they embark on a new chapter of coastal cruising in retirement.
Laurie and Cilla plan to use Shehota primarily as a liveaboard, exploring the stunning South East Queensland coastline. Her spacious layout, expansive flybridge, and seamless indoor-outdoor living spaces provide the perfect setting for relaxed long-term living and entertaining aboard.
With plenty of comfort, performance, and independence, Shehota is set to deliver the retirement lifestyle Laurie and Cilla envisioned – cruising in style and ease along Queensland’s spectacular coast.
Steve | Fountaine Pajot Lavezzi 40 | Even Keels
Even Keels, a beautifully maintained Fountaine Pajot Lavezzi 40, has found her new home with experienced sailor Steve, who secured the vessel through our Gold Coast Sales Consultant Brett Horner. With her owner’s layout, recent upgrades, and proven cruising capability, Even Keels was the perfect match for Steve’s plans both near and far.
Now moored on a swing mooring at Macleay Island, Steve is set to enjoy island hopping around South East Queensland, with a longer-term goal of sailing to New Caledonia in about a year’s time. A lifelong lover of the water, he was impressed by the yacht’s smart layout, new sails and Volvo Penta engines (installed in 2022), and her exceptional self-sufficiency features.
With his sailing plans taking shape, Steve is excited to make new memories aboard Even Keels as he explores Australia’s coast—and eventually, beyond.
