Fountaine Pajot has just launched the latest model to its sailing catamaran fleet, the New 44, distinguished by extraordinary volume, comfort and impeccable design.
The new model is an outstanding achievement by the Berret-Racoupeau Design team, creating a catamaran with the perfect balance of performance, style and liveability.
Designed to optimise idyllic on-water lifestyles, the New 44 delivers exceptional safety and performance offshore and incomparable comfort at anchor.
Elegance, balance and performance are afforded by the model’s discreet yet wider coachroof, the subtly inverted deck sheer, sleek rig and subtly extended chine above the waterline.
This perfectly optimised catamaran offers generous relaxation space in the cockpit with a maximum opening from cockpit to central island, as well as a fully opening window and servery hatch to deliver seamless integration between the interior and alfresco living areas.
The enlarged nacelle offers even more volume and storage space, and expansive living areas on the coachroof and flybridge provide additional precincts for entertaining or private relaxation for every guest to enjoy the onboard experience.
The deck layout remains faithful to Fountaine Pajot’s distinctive helm station design that has become a hallmark of its models, affording excellent visibility over the water, perfect control for course-keeping, and unimpeded communicated between the crew, whether from the cockpit or flybridge. Just forward of the helm, the sail manoeuvring station offers a perfect view of the rig, making sail trimming easy.
The New 44 is also available with Fountaine Pajot’s ODSea+ electric drivetrain and up to 2,000W of solar panels.
Available in 3 or 4 cabin versions, the New 44 provides superb space and comfort throughout its accommodation areas. The aft berths are set slightly diagonally for easy access, while chines in the forward hulls deliver generous beam.
The Maestro (Owners) version offers the freedom for owners to configure their cabin layout according to their individual style and cruising needs. The forward cabin can also be customised to feature a low-level unit or desk, with a space forward that can be converted to a nursery cabin or workshop area.
The New 44 is the arguably the perfect catamaran for blue water cruising with family or friends, and is available through Fountaine Pajot’s exclusive Asia Pacific dealer The Yacht Sales Co.
