WARRANTY CONDITIONS

  • Your yacht is covered by the general warranty conditions in your contract of sale.
  • Please understand that your warranty can only be approved by the manufacturer or supplier. TYSC will work diligently to assist you in your claims to the best extent possible.
  • Claims must be submitted using The Yacht Sales Co. online Request Form.
  • No request can be approved without prior written authorisation from the manufacturer.
Defective parts under warranty will have to include a part/serial number.
  • In obvious cases involving the safety of the crew or vessel, please proceed with any urgent repairs; however, for these repairs to be considered for a warranty claim, you must:
    • Keep detailed notes of everything you do.
    • Keep evidence and photos of the issue/s before any work is undertaken.
    • Received detailed reports from any contractors you engage.
    • Keep copies of any related quotes and invoices.
    • All repairs must be invoiced to and paid by you. TYSC will then initiate a claim with the manufacturer.
  • Failure to comply with these procedures will lead to delays or rejection of your warranty request.

WARRANTY PROCESS

  1. Complete the online Warranty Request Form, which will be received and assessed by our Service Help Desk.
  2. A member of our Service Team will contact you as soon as possible to confirm receipt of your request, obtain any further information that may be required and update you on the progress.
  3. Our Service Team will compile the warranty request and forward it to the manufacturer for their consideration.
