Jim Poulsen, Senior Sales Consultant & Maritimo Brand Specialist – Southeast Asia


For over 30 years, saltwater has run through this Australian’s veins, both playing and working on the water. Countless world-renowned races, hundreds of vessel deliveries and crossing the Atlantic all account to a depth of yachting wisdom that Jim draws upon to connect the right boat with the right buyer. Having survived the tragic 2008 Sydney to Hobart race, he knows how to tack through adversity and has commanded iconic maxi yacht crews with a USL Master Class 5 Captain license. Highly regarded as a successful, trustworthy and dedicated yacht broker with 19 years’ industry experience, Jim has established a global network of marine professionals built through a personal and transparent sales approach. Based in Phuket, Jim also enjoys kite surfing, diving, surfing and competitive triathlons, and joins TYSC with the goal of delivering the best service to clients so they may fully enjoy their on-water lifestyle and create lifelong memories with family and friends.

Charles Robinson, Senior Broker – Thailand


Charles has worked in engineering and sales for the oil and gas drilling supply industry for almost 25 years and been based in England, South Africa, Dubai, Azerbaijan, Iran and Algeria. Wherever and whenever possible, he pursued his love of catamaran sailing off the many picturesque coastlines around the world.

He sailed Mirrors, Enterprises and Bosuns as a sport at school then moved into Hobie sailing with his wife in Cape Town in the early 90s. The couple continued their love of Hobies when Charles was transferred to Dubai, and they competed in the 2007 World Championships in Fiji with a Dubai team of Masters sailors.

Toon Scholten, Assistant Manager – Jomtien


Toon has an impressive resume that puts her in a league of her own in Thailand’s marine industry. She has extensive experience in boat building, managing a team of 25 at her business, East Asia Composites in Chonburi, attaining broad knowledge of fibreglass and gelcoat processes, as well as an in-depth understanding of the regional and global import/export business. While still managing her factory team, Toon has joined TYSC to assist with client yacht sales as well as expanding our brand portfolio into the Bangkok region.

Daniel Au, Senior Sales Consultant – Singapore


Born in Singapore but spending his high school and university years in New Zealand, Daniel has accrued more than ten years’ experience in the yachting industry. Driven by a commitment to excellence and challenging the limits, he has served as a diver in the Navy and is driven by adrenalin pursuits, including cycling, skydiving, skiing and track car racing. His energy and enthusiasm is an asset to all boating enthusiasts seeking outstanding sales service and attention to detail.

Sheila Dali, Sales Consultant – Singapore


Sheila has an impressive resume in the yachting industry having worked for the past six years aboard a Singapore-based charter yacht taking clients through the magnificent waterways of Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia. Combining her knowledge as a charter broker with her hands-on experience as a chief stewardess, Sheila is uniquely positioned to provide comprehensive and personalised assistance to clients, whether they are seeking to charter or considering yacht ownership. Her passion for the yachting and providing impeccable service means Sheila is dedicated to ensuring that every client’s experience is nothing short of extraordinary.

Yui Anongnat – Administration Manager


There’s nothing more important than local expertise when expanding a business into a foreign country. The Yacht Sales Co hit the jackpot when Yui applied for the Administration Manager position of our new Phuket operation.

Brimming with energy, humour, qualifications and experience, Yui helps The Yacht Sales Co Asia team oversee the daily administration of our Boat Lagoon office.

Yui has completed Bachelor and Masters degrees in Business Administration, and contributed her impressive knowledge to previous positions in the local hospitality, tourism, property development, marine and media industry. She cites her hobbies as reading, gardening and badminton, and we’ve got bets that “sailing” will soon join that list!

Nuttapon (Nut) Thongtoam, Service Manager – Southeast Asia


There is no one more qualified than Nut to oversee the service division of our Phuket operations. Working on dive charter boats from the tender age of 16 as a boat boy before progressing to become an engineer, Nut then attained his captain’s licence and started driving both power and sail vessels for the region’s charter industry. He has also been heavily involved in racing, working for Java Yachting doing race charters at various regional regattas with highlights including victories at numerous Samui Regattas, Kings Cups and Multihull Solutions Regattas.

With a passion for the ocean and all boats, Nut loves spending his spare time on the water with his wife and young son.

Jerrod Lottinger, Yacht Broker – Thailand


Born and raised on the coast of South Louisiana, Jerrod spent his youth fishing on the bayous. Always a water child, he eventually saved up to buy his first motorboat at age 15 and spent many days on the water wake boarding. Jerrod went to Louisiana State University, where worked part-time as a photographer. His passion for photography led him to live briefly in Noosa Heads, Australia as an intern before beginning a career in sales, working for Fortune 500 and Global Medical/Surgical companies in both the US and UK.

After spending an amazing few weeks in the Virgin Islands in 2009, he had ambitions to start a yacht charter business but life, as it does sometimes, got in the way. Jerrod has a passion for learning new cultures having explored over 45 countries. He and his lovely wife, Namrin, set sail to Phuket to reinvigorate those ambitions of being in the yachting industry, and join the team at The Yacht Sales Co. incorporating Multihull Solutions! When they’re not at the gym, Jerrod and Namrin can usually be found socializing at various events, the beach, on a boat, or exploring all the amazing food Thailand has to offer.

Pokpong Pattaweekongka - Yacht Broker – Thailand


With over a decade of experience as an IT consultant, and background in Architecture, specializing in vernacular architecture and energy-efficient buildings, Pokpong bring a unique perspective to my work. His passion for design has taken him to the Himalayas, where he immersed himself in creating innovative solutions amidst breathtaking landscapes.

Originating from a quaint fishing village, my journey began with ILCA sailing, Trimaran and Race Officer volunteering on many Regattas, instilled a deep appreciation for precision and sportsmanship. Currently, Pokpong has leveraged his expertise as a Jury Member, combining his love for the sea with a keen eye for detail.

Additionally, he has cultivated a proficiency in the world of specialty coffee, adding a touch of refinement to my diverse skill set. As he transitions into the realm of yacht brokerage, Pokpong will merge his unique expertise to help people find their dream boats.

Jay Monney - Yacht Broker – Thailand


Sprung from a line of famous ship builders in Lago Maggiore, in the northern part of Italy and, Lake Geneva in Switzerland, Jerome ‘Jay’ Monney is a born boatie and natural linguist – speaking in seven languages and writing in six of them. He was around shipyards before he could even walk, and his cradle was a miniature sailing boat, complete with mast, rigging and sails that is now a family heirloom. As a result, he has a passion for working the water and was a professional dive guide on many of the world’s most renowned luxury live-aboard diving vessels in Southeast Asia. This included time Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia & Indonesia, amassing over 10,000 dives in his role.

After 17 years in the diving industry, he trained to become a Marine Surveyor for Yachts and Small Crafts (DipYachtSur) with the Maritime Training Academy (MTA) based in Portsmouth, England, where he graduated with merit in 2016. Since then, he proudly helmed his own company “Waterborne Experts – Marine Surveys & Consulting” in Phuket, Thailand, delivering expert consultancy services to existing and potential new yacht owners. Now looking for a new challenge, and believing “standing still is death,” he has joined our team to share knowledge and help potential yacht buyers and existing owners to make right choices that are best for them.

Craig Wright - Yacht Broker – Thailand


Craig was born into a family of commercial divers and was raised in Bournemouth, on the UK’s Jurassic coast, forging a career in the marine industry. His first industry role was with Sunsail Greece as a flotilla engineer in 2013. In 2016, Craig accepted a long-term position with Sunsail Thailand. He then spent the following years working as a senior engineer and a base manager in the charter sector of Phuket’s exciting marine industry. Craig  is passionate in pairing people with their dream yacht, along with providing insider tips for cruising the stunning Thailand waters.

In his free time, you can find Craig surfing, sailing, free diving, walking his dogs, running trail races through the mountains, and enjoying the beauty that nature has to offer.
