James brings a wealth of diverse experience to The Yacht Sales Co., having worked across industries such as business development, IT, export management and operating a 100-tonne trading ship. He also has extensive expertise as a professional yacht broker, with prior roles in Cairns and Mooloolaba.

James’ passion for sailing began early, adventuring on his Corsair dinghy before progressing to Lasers and Hobie Cats. Over the years, he has owned multiple cruising yachts and amassed countless nautical miles along Australia’s east coast and Papua New Guinea through yacht deliveries and racing.

Now, James combines his industry knowledge and sailing expertise to help The Yacht Sales Co. clients turn their cruising dreams into reality.
