Rafael brings a diverse professional background and extensive hands-on boating experience to his role as Area Manager – NSW & Dufour Yachts Brand Manager. After beginning his career in IT and law, he found his true passion in the marine industry, where his technical knowledge, practical approach and commitment to client service have made him a trusted advisor to yacht owners and buyers alike.

His experience also includes yacht sales across a range of internationally renowned sailing and motor yacht brands, giving him broad exposure to different yacht designs, ownership profiles and client requirements.

Having worked as a private yacht captain, Rafael has developed a deep understanding of yacht ownership, boat handling and the practical needs of cruising sailors. His strong knowledge of vessel maintenance and operations enables him to provide informed guidance throughout every stage of the ownership journey, from selecting the right yacht through to ongoing support.

As Dufour Yachts Brand Manager, Rafael works closely with clients to showcase the renowned French sailing yacht range while supporting the continued growth of the brand across Australia. Combined with his leadership of The Yacht Sales Co.’s New South Wales operations, he is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and helping clients achieve their boating ambitions with confidence.
