I’d been going to the Whitsundays chartering on and off over the last 15 years while regularly drooling over the big cats on The Yacht Sales Co. website.
I’d never quite been able to justify the costs of outright ownership given I’d probably only be on the boat for a month or two a year but then, the Helia 44 syndicate launched. I researched it thoroughly with some boating buddies who had been involved in syndicates before and it was an absolute no brainer for me to get on board the syndicate. Four weeks a year on an awesome boat, for not much more dollar-wise than chartering one for a week to ten days.
The boat itself has exceeded all my expectations, and the syndicate management by The Yacht Sales Co. has been absolutely first rate. I can’t recommend it more highly and I’m happy to field anyone call if they have any questions.
