2017 Seawind 1160 Lite | Lady Margarita
Lady Margarita is an exceptionally well-presented 2017 Seawind 1160 Lite, combining rewarding sailing performance, practical cruising systems, and comfortable accommodation in a manageable 11.6-metre catamaran. With just two fastidious owners from new and a comprehensive maintenance history, she has been maintained to an excellent standard and is well prepared for her next cruising adventure.
Powered by twin Yamaha T25LA High Thrust 25hp four-stroke outboards, showing only approximately 385 and 343 hours, Lady Margarita offers economical and dependable propulsion. Both engines were serviced by Coastline Marine in March 2026, with antifouling using Altex No.5 also completed in March 2026. Her standing rigging was professionally retuned in 2024.
Her desirable three-cabin layout provides excellent separation between owners and guests. The port hull incorporates the owner’s queen cabin and ensuite, while the starboard hull offers an additional queen cabin, double cabin, and second ensuite. The comfortable saloon connects directly with the cockpit, creating the practical indoor-outdoor living arrangement for which Seawind catamarans are so highly regarded.
Cruising independence is supported by 800W of solar generation, a 600Ah AGM house battery bank, and a Mastervolt 2500W inverter/charger. Navigation is handled by a comprehensive B&G package including a 12-inch chartplotter, autopilot, wind and depth instruments, AIS transponder and VHF. An Iridium GO with PredictWind, added in 2025, provides valuable satellite communication capability for more adventurous cruising.
Her sail wardrobe is equally well prepared, with Barracouta mainsail and jib, a screecher with new ropes, and an MPS spinnaker presented in near-new condition. A new Barracouta boom bag was fitted in 2024, while Harken winches include an electric Harken 45 at the port helm for easier sail handling.
Life aboard is enhanced by substantial refrigeration, including a 130L refrigerator new in 2024, additional 80L fridge/freezer and two built-in chest freezers. With 700 litres of freshwater capacity, LPG cooking, two electric heads, hot-water showers and a stainless BBQ, Lady Margarita is comfortably equipped for extended time aboard.
Completing the package is a 2.95m Barefoot RIB with Yamaha 15hp electric-start outboard, davits, saltwater deck wash, hot and cold transom shower, Lewmar electric windlass, and generous ground tackle.
With low engine hours, extensive cruising equipment, recent maintenance and an excellent ownership history, Lady Margarita represents a compelling opportunity to acquire a carefully maintained Seawind 1160 Lite ready to cruise. Her current berth at New Quay, Docklands is also available until February 2027.
