2017 Bavaria 41S | Sailing Pangea

Sailing Pangea is a standout 2017 Bavaria 41S, purposefully set up for safe offshore cruising and exceptionally comfortable long-term living. Originally purchased in Croatia at five years old, she was selected for her strong grid structure fully bonded to the hull, deeper keel and tall rig that together deliver impressive balance and reliable passagemaking performance. She consistently averages around 150 nautical miles a day, offering both speed and confidence at sea.

Her interior is bright and open, making her an inviting and highly practical liveaboard for extended journeys. Since ownership, Sailing Pangea has benefited from extensive upgrades aimed at enhancing performance, efficiency and self-sufficiency. She now features 1,180 W of solar, 600 Ah of lithium batteries, a 3,000 W inverter with a secondary 375 W inverter, multiple MPPT controllers and a high-output alternator. Additional bluewater essentials include a Hydrovane self-steering system, 30 L/hr watermaker, custom dinghy davits with a solar arch, new Emtrak AIS, Garmin Fantom radar and an extra Garmin chart plotter in the cockpit.

Her cruising history is as impressive as her specification. After exploring the Adriatic and Italian coastline, Sailing Pangea crossed the Mediterranean to the Canary Islands and Cape Verde before completing a smooth Atlantic passage to the Caribbean. She later transited the Panama Canal and has spent the past year cruising French Polynesia.
