We’re expanding our presence in Victoria and are looking for an ambitious, relationship-driven Yacht Broker to establish and grow our Melbourne brokerage business.

The Opportunity

Contractor position | Commission-based

This is far more than a typical brokerage role.

Melbourne is an important strategic market for our business, and we’re looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career representing one of the industry’s strongest brands.

From day one you’ll have access to:

• An established portfolio of approximately 200 quality brokerage listings
• National marketing support

Your role will be to build relationships throughout the Victorian boating community, generate quality listings, guide clients through the buying and selling process, and grow our market presence across Melbourne, Port Phillip Bay and Martha Cove.

A Unique Additional Opportunity

For the right candidate, with proven sailing experience, this role also includes the opportunity to become the Southeast Melbourne Base Owner for SailTime Australia.

Unlike a traditional franchise opportunity, the yacht and investor are already in place, allowing you to develop an additional recurring income stream without needing to purchase a vessel yourself.

This provides an exceptional opportunity to:

Australian residency is a mandatory requirement for this position.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• An experienced sales professional with a passion for boating
• A confident relationship builder and networker
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
• Professional, organised and highly customer focused
• Comfortable managing their own territory
• Passionate about helping clients achieve their boating dreams
• Able to prospect the area for opportunities and establish network
• Sales skills are necessary
• Marine Sales experience is best suited for the position
• A strong sailing or boating background is needed.

Location

This is a Melbourne or Martha Cove based position servicing clients throughout Victoria.

The role is mobile, allowing you to meet clients where they are—at marinas, yacht clubs and on board their vessels.
