First Look Aboard the new Fountaine Pajot FP55

The Yacht Sales Co. has released its first walkthrough of the new Fountaine Pajot FP55, filmed during the recent Fountaine Pajot Open Days in La Rochelle, France.

Led by Greg Boller, General Manager – Fountaine Pajot for The Yacht Sales Co., the video provides a detailed look aboard the new 17.34-metre sailing catamaran and some of the key design features that set the FP55 apart.

“There has been a lot of anticipation around the FP55 and it’s impressive to see how Fountaine Pajot has brought this to life. The scale and use of space are what really stand out when you step aboard” Greg said.

The FP55 introduces a new approach to onboard living within the Fountaine Pajot range, with generous spaces across three distinct levels and a strong focus on comfort, functionality and connection with the sea.

A key feature is the expansive flybridge, which provides a dedicated space for navigation, relaxing and entertaining, with extensive seating and uninterrupted views from above the main deck.

Below, the saloon connects the aft and forward outdoor living areas, with a forward-opening door providing direct access to the foredeck cockpit. Combined with extensive glazing and an open-plan layout, this creates greater flow through the main deck and a closer connection between the interior and surrounding environment.

The video also features Ophélie Padrieu, FP55 Project Developer, who discusses the development of the new model and some of its defining features.

Ophélie highlights the forward cockpit as her favourite place aboard, describing the comfort of the space and the way it brings those onboard closer to the sea.

The walkthrough continues through the FP55’s saloon, galley, accommodation and exterior areas, providing a comprehensive first look at the scale, layout and finish of Fountaine Pajot’s newest sailing catamaran.
