The Yacht Sales Co. has celebrated one of its strongest performances in recent years at the 2026 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, securing multiple sales and generating strong enquiry levels across its premium portfolio of new and pre-owned yachts.
The company showcased an impressive line-up at this year’s event, including the Asia Pacific premieres of the Fountaine Pajot FP44, Dufour 54 and Dufour 41, alongside the Fountaine Pajot FP41, the award-winning ILIAD 53F, Tesoro T40 and a curated selection of premium pre-owned yachts.
During the four-day event, The Yacht Sales Co. secured orders for the Fountaine Pajot FP44, FP41 and FP48 sailing catamarans, two ILIAD 53F power catamarans, a Dufour 41 and a Tesoro, with additional contracts expected to be finalised in the coming days.
Chief Executive Officer of The Yacht Sales Co., Mark Elkington, said the result reflected both the quality of the company’s display and continued confidence in the premium cruising market.
“We were extremely pleased with both the quality of enquiries and the level of activity across the four days,” Elkington said.
“Sanctuary Cove continues to be a key event on our calendar and this year’s show was particularly significant given the strength of the line-up we had on display, including several major Asia Pacific premieres,” he said.
“These results, together with the additional orders currently under negotiation, reflect the strong success of this year’s event for our business and provide a very positive indication of ongoing market confidence.”
Elkington said the show reinforced continued demand for premium sail and power catamarans in both the Australian and New Zealand markets, particularly Fountaine Pajot and Dufour Yachts’ new-generation cruising models designed for extended liveaboard comfort, long-range capability and effortless entertaining.
“We continue to see strong interest in high-quality cruising platforms that offer owners genuine versatility, whether for coastal cruising, extended passagemaking or full-time liveaboard use,” he said.
“The response to both our sailing and power catamaran ranges was especially encouraging, reflecting the growing appetite for premium, adventure-focused boating experiences.”
