VEHICLE SIGNAGE REQUEST

THE OFFER

The Yacht Sales Co. is pleased to offer any team member the opportunity to request to have their vehicle sign written.

COMPENSATION FOR NON-SALESPEOPLE

For non-salespeople, i.e. anyone who works in a role that does not earn them a commission for sales, TYSC will compensate you AUD$500 when your vehicle is sign-written and AUD$500 on the first anniversary of your vehicle being sign-written. The total compensation will be AUD$1,000 across these two payments and is considered compensation for the sign-writing of your vehicle for two years.

Note: payments will be made through payroll.

COMPENSATION FOR SALESPEOPLE

For Salespeople, your vehicles will be personalised with your name (optional), direct contact details and unique QR Code included on the vehicle. Your unique QR Code will link to your personalised page on our website, displaying your photo, listings and other info. As you will benefit directly from people viewing your vehicle in your geographical area, no direct payment will be provided for signwriting your vehicle.

SIGN WRITING-COSTS

TYSC will cover all costs associated with having the vehicle signed.

REMOVAL PROCESS

If the signage is left on your vehicle for the full two years, TYSC will arrange to have it removed and a basic clean and polish completed on your vehicle, with a supplier chosen by TYSC.

If you choose to remove the signage before the two years are complete, you may choose to remove the signage yourself or have it professionally removed at your own cost.

Be aware that some vehicle paint can fade in the sun, leaving the area that was signed unfaded. If you are concerned about this, please discuss this before requesting your vehicle to be sign-written.

TYSC will cover no additional costs.

SUBJECT TO APPROVAL

Please note that we may choose not to sign write a vehicle for several reasons, including:

  • Number of vehicles already in your area
  • Budget constraints
  • Age, style, type or condition of vehicle
  • Likelihood of you selling your vehicle

WHAT IS A TYSC AFFILIATE?

Becoming an Affiliate of The Yacht Sales Co. provides you with the unique opportunity to receive a financial benefit in return for connecting our team with qualified leads/contacts who successfully purchase a new or pre-owned yacht from The Yacht Sales Co. or choose to sell their yacht with The Yacht Sales Co.

An Affiliate relationship with TYSC does not constitute a partnership – you are not a representative, an employee or a contractor of TYSC. In contrast, your arm’s length distance and neutrality from the company is a tool you use when recommending our services to potential leads.

It is imperative that you are transparent with your current employer or anyone who may be granting you access to a situation that provides you contact with potential referrals. For example, if you work for a marina, we expect you to discuss our Affiliate program with your employer, and that you have their approval for you to join this Affiliate program.

 

HOW TO EXPLAIN YOUR RELATIONSHIP

When speaking with potential leads, you can explain that you are recommending our services based on your solid belief that we are a reputable company and honest team who sell quality products and services.

For this reason, we do not supply you with an email address or business cards. Instead, we supply you with training on the products and services we offer, so you can confidently discuss why a buyer or seller should allow you to pass on their details to us.

We encourage you to be upfront with any buyer or seller that you could receive a financial benefit for passing on their details, but it will also provide them with a great experience and access to a high-quality service.

HOW TO REGISTER YOUR REFERRALS

Once accepted as a TYSC Affiliate, you will have access to our Affiliate Client Registration Form. You should complete the registration form each time you refer a buyer or seller.

  • You must only register a client if they are qualified and if you have made them fully aware that you are passing on their contact details to TYSC.
  • TYSC will advise the client in our first communication that we have received their contact details from you.
  • You must have explained to the client that they will receive a call and/or email from a TYSC sales consultant and that they will receive marketing emails from TYSC, but are free to unsubscribe at any time.
  • All required fields must be completed with relevant information for the registration to be considered valid, including what the contact is looking to buy, or the basic information about the yacht they are looking to sell.
  • Applicable referral payment will be paid if the referred client purchases a new or pre-owned yacht within 12 months of the date you entered the referral.
  • Referral payments will be made at the time of delivery of settlement of pre-owned yachts, or at the time of delivery for new yachts.
  • Referral will only be valid if the client does not already exist in our database, and proof will be provided where a contact already exists.
  • If a contact already exists in our database, but there has been no contact for a long period (at management’s discretion) we may still consider this contact a referral, as you have re-stimulated their interest.
  • The contact will be allocated to the sales consultant we believe best fits the location and needs of the client.
  • TYSC will update you if the deal you have referred is successful or if we decide the deal is lost.
  • You may request to be included in the correspondence and meetings with the client, giving you a great opportunity to learn the process of buying or selling a yacht. Your involvement in the process will be at the sole discretion of TYSC management and will take into consideration the comfort of the client involved.
