Gilles Haudrechy

Born in France, Gilles discovered his passion for sailing at the age of seven when he first took to the water aboard an Optimist dinghy. At 18, he moved to the UK, where he worked in the restaurant and nightclub industries while honing his English language skills.

In his mid-20s, a holiday to Egypt reignited Gilles’s love for the ocean, prompting him to relocate to the Middle East to become a professional diver aboard a luxury yacht. Over the next three years, he completed approximately 3,000 dives in the Red Sea, gaining invaluable experience in the management of high-end luxury yachts and further deepening his boating expertise.

In 2008, Gilles made a life-changing move across the world to Tahiti, where he launched his own Bahia 46 boat charter operation. He later went on to skipper a small superyacht before joining The Yacht Sales Co., where he brings his extensive knowledge, experience and passion for yachting to clients throughout the stunning waters of French Polynesia.
