The new OffGrid Hybrid version elevates this legacy, incorporating a cutting-edge parallel hybrid propulsion system that allows seamless transition between traditional diesel power and silent, zero-emission electric cruising.

Equipped with powerful Volvo D6 480HP engines, high-capacity lithium-ion batteries and integrated e-Motion generator functionality, the ILIAD 53F OffGrid Hybrid offers extended range and dramatically reduced CO₂ emissions while providing near-silent navigation. Its innovative design includes an extended carbon-fibre roofline fitted with a 5kW solar array and 2.96kw of flexible solar panels custom fitted on the coachhouse roof to power all onboard systems and appliances.

This enables sustainable energy generation and true off-grid capability, with house loads—including air conditioning—operating for up to 24 hours on battery power alone, and rapid recharging from engines in under 30 minutes.

The new hybrid system introduces compelling advantages for owners, including significantly lower fuel consumption, reduced maintenance costs, and the ability to enjoy anchorages in complete tranquility without generator noise.
