2006 Nordhavn 55 | Tipasa
Tipasa’s impressive volume delivers a sense of spacious comfort and luxury on journeys near and far – a welcome feature on this expedition cruiser capable of 3,000nm non-stop ocean passages.
Currently operated by a full-time captain, the new owner will benefit from the meticulous care and daily attention she has always received. At 55 feet, she is also well suited to being owner driven if that is your desire.
Accommodation for seven guests and/or crew includes the owner’s stateroom and queen guest room below, a double captain’s or guest room on the bridge deck and two bunks. The opulent owner’s cabin features a king-sized therapeutic mattress, an office area with writing desk and bathroom with a shower and bath. Yes a bath!
The main saloon’s elegant L-shaped black leather Chesterfield couch and two arm chairs combined with beautifully polished timberwork create the atmosphere of a classic luxury yacht. There are numerous living and entertaining areas, including a dining table and settee in the pilot house and an alfresco dining area on the upper deck.
The galley is a chef’s delight with granite benchtops, gas cooktop, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, ample refrigeration, deep freezer, trash compactor, sink shredder and plenty of storage for other appliances. With a chef and hostess on board, the galley is now separated from the main saloon by a partition that can easily be removed if you prefer a more open plan.
Abt-Trac digital active fin stabilizers ensure an extra comfortable ride while underway and a bow thruster means easy parking when you get there. Other features include a 90 L/h watermaker, 1000w of solar panels, a hydraulic crane for lifting heavy items, such as a motorcycle or other stores, a custom stainless-steel swinging davit with electric winch for the 12′ RIB, a Bauer dive compressor.
The full stand-up engine room has a Lugger 1276 340 HP engine keel cooled and dry exhaust main engine and a Northern Lights L984 wing engine for back up. The Northern Lights M844L generator 20KVA had a complete bench overhaul by Northern Lights in 2022 and has very low hours since.
