The Yacht Sales Co extend a warm welcome to the latest members of our Owner’s Club, Christian and family, who have recently purchased the brand new Dufour 390 stock yacht from our Sydney Sales Centre in Rushcutters Bay.
Following the lockdowns in Sydney, The Yacht Sales Co’s Bob Vinks took the family out for a test sail on Sydney Harbour. The day was fresh, with a 15 knot breeze, perfect for the self-tacking jib and maintaining a comfortable heel. They noticed incoming weather and sailed back to the marina with just moments left prior to 30 knots hitting the marina. The test sail cemented the design and features they were looking for. We handed the boat over just 10 days later.
Christian was brought up in a sailing family, and as one of four boys he is now the envy of his siblings. His intention is to be able to offer his kids the same opportunities that he had, and is now excited in discovering the beautiful waters of Pittwater.
